Karácsonyi kedvencek - Christmas favourites

Ebben az évben jelentkeztem a Winter Wonderland karácsonyi cserére a Stitched with Love Exchanges blogon. Még nem mutathatom meg nektek az ajándékot, amit készítettem a cserepartneremnek, viszont a karácsonyig hátralévő időben minden héten megosztunk egymással az ünneppel kapcsolatos hímzéseket, szokásokat, stb. Ezen a héten kedvenc karácsonyi hímzéseinket, illetve terveinket mutattuk meg egymásnak, és úgy gondoltam, ide is felteszem, megmutatom nektek is :)

This year I am participating in the Winter Wonderland exchange on the Stitched with Love Exchanges blog. I cannot show you yet the piece I stitched for my exchange partner, but until Christmas, every week we share our Christmas related stitches, traditions, etc on the blog. This week it was our favourite stitched piece, and our future plans. I thought, I would share them here with you, too.

Mivel nagyon szeretek karácsonyi dolgokat hímezni, nehéz lenne kiválasztani, melyik a kedvencem, mindig a legújabb, amit először teszek ki az adott évben :) Idén több karácsonyi képet is hímeztem, ezek közül kettő már be van kereteztetve, ezért most ezeket mutatom nektek.

As I love stitching Christmas patterns it is hard to pick a favourite, it is always the new one, that I put on display the first time in that year. This year I was stitching quite a few Christmas pictures and two of them are already framed, I am showing them to you now.

Dimensions - Chickadees on a Windowsill

Az első egy Dimensions készlet, Chickadees on a Windowsill. Sokáig (évekig) várta, hogy elkészüljön, de idén befejeztem. A készletben volt passzpartu is, így csak a megfelelő keretet kellett kiválasztani hozzá.

First is a Dimensions kit, Chickadees on a Windowsill. It was waiting for a long long time in a drawer, but this year I finished it and it is already framed using the mat that was provided with the kit.

Lizzie Kate - Flip It - December

A másik kép egy Lizzie Kate minta, amit Mártitól kaptam tavaly karácsonyra. Még a két ünnep között beszereztem hozzá a fonalakat, és alig vártam, hogy elkezdhessem, most pedig azt, hogy kitehessem végre :)

The other is a Lizzie Kate pattern I got as a Christmas present from Márti last year. I could not wait to have it stitched up and now I cannot wait to put it on display :)

Ami pedig a jövőbeli terveket illeti... vannak bőven :) Az aktuális kedvencek között van két Lizzie Kate hóemberes kép (Snowman '10 és Snow Friends) és egy Prairie Schooler minta (Christmas Traditions).

And my future plans... I have a lot, but these are my actual favourites: two Lizzie Kate snowman pattern (Snowman '10 & Snow Friends) and a Prairie Schooler (Manger from the book Christmas Traditions).

Közben persze dolgozom a többi, egyelőre titkos karácsonyi hímzésen, és a Tea Room mintán is. Legközelebb mutatom, hogy haladok ezzel. Addig is...

Hímezni mentem! :)

In the meanwhile, I an still working on some secret Christmas pieces and on my Tea Room as well. I will show my progress on this next time. Till then...

Chocolate & tea :)

Elkészültem a Chocolate Shoppe hímzésével. Legszívesebben meg is kóstolnám azt a tortát a kép közepén, eperrel a tetején :) :) De mivel ez nem lehetséges, gyorsan el is kezdtem hímezni egy másik képet, a Teaházat a Country Cottage Needleworkstől. Ez a minta is nagyon tetszik (és már naaagyon régóta várja, hogy kihímezzem), de sokkal több rajta a kis részlet, ezért lassabban haladok. De nagyon szeretem hímezni :)

Little House Needleworks - Chocolate Shoppe

I have finished stitching Chocolate Shoppe from Little House Needleworks. I wish I could taste that cake in the middle with strawberry on the top... :) But as this is not possible, I quickly started to stitch another lovely pattern, The Tea Room from Country Cottage Needleworks (which was waiting in my stash for a loooong time). I enjoy stitching it, but I advance much slower because of the little details.

Moon Houses

Nem olyan régen, a "Happy Gobble Gobble Day" hímzésekor figyeltem fel a The Trilogy mintákra. Sok közülük nagyon megtetszett, és szeretném őket kihímezni a (közel)jövőben. Most egy egyszerű, őszies hangulatú mintát kerestem, így esett a választásom a "Trilogy Square" házaira. Már csak a megfelelő keretet kell megtalálni hozzá :)

The Trilogy - Trilogy Square - Moon Houses

It was not so long ago, while stitching Happy Gobble Gobble Day, when I discovered the patterns of The Trilogy. I fall in love with several of them and would like to stitch them in the (near) future. Now I was looking for a simple pattern with autumn colors and so I picked the houses of Trilogy Square. I only need to find the right frame for it :)
