Remember

Szeretnék egy olyan falat a lakásban, ahova fényképeket tennék, szépen bekeretezve. A sok fénykép közé persze becsempésznék egy-két keresztszemes hímzést is :) Már el is döntöttem, milyen mintákat fogok kihímezni, és az első el is készült. Lizzie Kate "Remember" mintáját választottam. Remélem, hamarosan a többit is mutatni tudom :)

I would like to have a wall in the flat which would be filled with photographs, all nicely framed. Of course, some cross stitch pictures would also be needed between the lots of photos :) and I have already decided what patterns I will stitch and the first one is ready. I stitched Remember from Lizzie Kate. I hope that I can show you the rest of the stitches soon :)

Ősz - Fall

Nagyon szeretem a Prairie Schooler mintákat, így amikor tavaly az a szerencse ért, hogy én nyertem ezt a gyönyörű mintát Carol giveaway játékán, nem is volt kérdés, hogy amint időm engedi, el fogom készíteni. Igazán szerettem hímezni, és nagy öröm, hogy már a nappalinkat díszíti.

I love Prairie Schooler patterns very much, and when I was so lucky that I won this beautiful pattern last year in a giveaway of Carol, I knew immediately that I would stitch it as soon as I can. Now it is already framed and it is such a pleasure to see it in our living room. Thanks again Carol for the beautiful pattern.

És ha már elkezdtem őszi mintákat hímezni, készítettem még két kis párnácskát is. Az egyikhez Prairie Schooler mintát választottam, a másikat pedig egy ingyenesen letölthető Plum Pudding NeedleArt minta díszíti.

I did not stop here, I decided to make more autumn designs: two long pillows, one with a Prairie Schooler pattern and another with a Plum Pudding NeedleArt freebie.

Most, hogy végre kezd alábbhagyni a hőség, elkezdtem lecserélni a lakásban a nyári dekorációt az őszire. Így mutatnak együtt az új hímzések.

Now that the temperature finally seems to be decreasing a bit, I started to change the summer decoration to the autumn one. This is how the new stitches look like together.

Schoolgirl Lessons

Elérkezett a szeptember, és a mi utcánk is újra megtelik gyerekekkel reggelente. Kicsikkel is, nagyokkal is, hiszen három iskola is van a közelben. Rám is átragadt a hangulat, és úgy döntöttem, kihímezem végre a Little House Needleworks Schoolgirl Lessons mintáját. Már hosszú ideje szerepelt a terveim között :) 115-ös DMC fonalat választottam hozzá. Nagyon szeretem ezt a színt, már többször hímeztem vele, és most sem bántam meg, hogy ezt választottam.

September is here and our street is full of little and bigger children again, as there are 3 schools around. Maybe because of this atmosphere, but I decided to stitch Schoolgirl Lessons from Little House Needleworks, a pattern that was in my to-do list for a long long time. I stitched it with DMC color 115, which I really like.

Egyszerű, fehér keretbe került, és már el is foglalta helyét a polcon. És ha már itt a szeptember, ideje lesz felhasználni ezt az almás anyagot is, ami a jobb felső képen a hímzés alatt látható. Még korábban bukkantam rá egy helyi méterárú boltban, és persze nem hagyhattam ott :)

I placed it into a simple white frame and it has found its place already in the self. And now that September is here, it is time to find a good use to that fabric with apples that you can see under the stitching in the upper right picture. I found it some time ago in a local fabric shop and of course I could not leave it there :)
